Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Animal care tasks

  • Feed farm animals

  • Muck farm animal stalls

  • Move farm animals as needed

• Collect trash from around the farm and dispose of properly

• Various farm chores as needed

• Interact with farm visitors

• Educate farm visitors about the farm animals

• Various manual labor tasks including the use of power tools

• May run equipment (18 years or older)

Work Conditions and Physical Demands

• Ability to withstand exposure to outdoor weather conditions (cold, rain, excessive heat, etc.)

• Ability to lift 50lbs

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to make repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching

Experience and Qualifications

• Comfortable working with farm animals

• Ability to use power tools

• 14 years of age
