Hoagie Dip
We’ve come to that time of this festive season where there’s a party or a get together or event happening almost every night of the week! And if you’re like us, eventually you run out of ideas of what side dish or appetizer or dessert to bring. Well, here is a little appetizer that’s a BIG crowd pleaser. Bring this to your next holiday outing and be the hero of the night! It’s also very easy to double if you’re feeding a big group.
Hoagie Dip
Ingredients—
½ Cup Red Onion, Diced
½ Cup Banana Peppers, drained and diced
½ Cup of Baby Pickles, chopped
1 Tomato, seeded and diced
¼ lb. Hard Salami, diced
¼ lb. Deli Ham, diced
¼ lb. Pepperoni, diced
8 Slices Provolone Cheese, diced
2/3 Cup Mayonnaise
1.5 TBSP Italian seasoning
3 Cups Shredded Lettuce
Directions—
Step #1—
Dice all your meats, veggies, and cheese into little squares. Then, in a large bowl, combine meats, cheese, onion, tomatoes, pickles, and banana peppers. Add the mayo and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
Step #2—
Chill until ready to eat. Then, just before serving, add your shredded lettuce. Serve with Ritz Crackers. Watch everyone come back for seconds, thirds, fourths, and so on until the bowl is clean!
