Human Resources Intern
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee Staff
Recruiting
Interviewing
Hiring
Onboarding
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain employee files.
Performance management
Provide guidance and feedback to staff.
Assess training needs.
Manage employment verifications
Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring to resolution in a timely manner
May complete additional tasks as assigned by general manager as deemed appropriate for business needs.
Work collaboratively with other members of management.
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
Ability to stand for long periods of time as needed
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to make repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, etc
Experience and Qualifications
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility to complete tasks that may not be in the job description
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong time management skills
Strong organizational skills
Effective problem solving skills
Knowledge of HR systems and processes
Previous administration experience preferred
18 years of age or older
